The Process & The Magick
To capture the ethereal depth of the upward stream, this original piece was constructed using heavy modeling paste to create a tactile, visceral ocean floor. Deep majestic purples and oceanic blues are heavily layered, disrupted by striking silver and aqua metallic flakes. Crucially, the canvas is infused with shimmering mica powders—materials long used in magickal practices to anchor energy and reflect light. These powders catch the light from every angle, mimicking the bioluminescence of the deep sea while holding the specific Lemurian frequencies transmitted by the artist. At the base, two or three-tentacled, soul-like jellyfish forms drift upwards toward the surface.
